The Big Eat
The Big Eat is an annual showcase of Denver restaurants, celebrating another wonderful year in the Denver dining scene. Ad Hominem, along with over 60 other restaurants, served up a small bite, and ours was vegetarian Boudin and Etouffee. Thank you to anyone who stopped by our table that night, or to the restaurant for our Boudin and Etouffee special that weekend!


Slow Food Nations
Global Street Food Social

Just two days after The Big Eat, Slow Food Nations hosted the Global Street Food Social in Larimer Square. Slow Food Nations is a global, grassroots organization that has worked for almost 30 years to prevent the disappearance of local food cultures and traditions. Our ownership has Lebanese heritage, so we were thrilled to serve a traditional Lebanese dish of Kibbeh and Tabbouleh with a Colorado twist of Palisade peaches, finished with Lebanese Laban.


Clyfford Still - Local Tastes
The Friends of Clyfford Still invited Ad Hominem to participate in their fourth annual Local Tastes, a unique event full of innovative pairings of cuisine and art. Executive Chef Chris Martinez selected the well known work affectionately known as "Big Blue" to build a dish around. The final result was a handmade blue corn tortilla with mole negro black baked beans and a Palisade peach coulis.
